Erika Cramer -  Artist 

Erika Cramer is a Bay Area artist and educator.  Erika learned how to draw at an early age with her father - since then art has meant connection with people and places and as a way to explore the self.  She specializes in 2D mixed media artwork and her artwork explores realms of what it means to be human.  As a lover of nature and science, her more personal work often features the human body in relation to elements of the natural world.  Other work includes a variety of media, not limited to painting, drawing, ceramics, and more recently exploring current events through graphic design and printmaking.

Erika possesses a Masters degree in Teaching from Seattle University and a Bachelors in Art from U.C.L.A.  and has taught art formally in Washington State Public Schools and currently holds credentials in California and teaches art workshops in the Bay Area and Hayward area.  She discovered a love of teaching and sharing art in all media shortly after completing undergraduate studies and believes access to quality art education is vital to a healthy and equitable society.  She has since taught various ages all over the greater Bay Area and in Washington State.
